Taking place on October 11-13 and 18-19, the New Hampshire Parade of Homes is a must-see for both potential homebuyers and home design enthusiasts. This year 12 gorgeous homes are on display, some of them built especially for the event.

“Regardless of your price range and lifestyle, the builders featured in this year’s parade will be able to provide you with a high-quality home at a fair price,” says Roger Bouchard, president of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire (HBRANH). “And, the choice of new homes in New Hampshire has never been better.

The self-guided tour takes attendees throughout New Hampshire, from the picturesque Lakes Region to the secluded forests of the White Mountains. Each home has a distinct style, from contemporary to traditional and rustic to elegant, suited to fit the lifestyle of any family.

The Parade also unveils the first home to be awarded the Gold Level certification under the Build Green NH program. Demonstrating that green can also be beautiful, ABODE Builders of New England constructed a rustic mountain home using a mix of natural materials, such as cedar shakes, fir beams, Carlisle reclaimed oak flooring, stone fireplace, and slate floors; it is finished with custom Crown Point cabinets and top of the line appliances.

The Parade features a full range of houses, from starter homes in the $100,000 range to stunning show houses at the top of the market. Fully decorated by area designers, the homes exemplify the latest in interior design, making it easy to imagine what it might be like to live in one of them, and showing you new ideas for your own decor.

Ashwood Development Companies will be showing five homes in this year’s Parade, including two Premier Parade Homes, built especially for the event. Though the homes are built to be energy efficient, Ashwood also enhanced them with upgrades such as hardwood floors, luxury baths, and gourmet kitchens.

“I feel that the parade event is extremely important to the home building and design world,” says De Zielinski of Ashwood. “Homebuilders, subcontractors, vendors and designers have an opportunity to show off the best of the best at what they do.”
